TECTO'S HISTORY

Tecto Ltd. was established in 1977 by Yossi Goldstein and Reuven Sokol. Initially, the company's main focus was on representing, importing, and servicing agricultural machinery from various manufacturers. However, following the unfortunate passing of Yossi Goldstein, Reuven Sokol took over the management of Tecto Ltd. In 1984, he acquired full ownership of the company and decided to shift its direction towards developing unique machines tailored to customers' needs.

The first step involved collaborating with Dutch manufacturing companies to develop a range of machinery and control solutions for the flower industry. As time went on, Tecto progressed by transitioning to developing and manufacturing these machines in Israel, with a particular emphasis on creating solutions that save manpower in the agriculture and industry sectors.

In 2006, Uri Tal, Reuven's son-in-law, joined Tecto as a senior engineer. Uri, a talented electrical engineer and designer, leads the team in characterizing, developing, and producing solutions according to customer requirements.

WHAT WE DO TODAY

Tecto Ltd. specializes in providing solutions by understanding customer needs, employing innovative engineering development, and building solutions in-house. The company excels in developing creative solutions with a comprehensive approach in mechanics, pneumatics, image analysis, computerized control, high-precision machines, and mechanized production lines.

IN THE PROJECT LANDSCAPE

Throughout the years, Tecto has successfully led projects such as image analysis-based sorting machines, the development of production lines for cannabis oil products, leaf cutting machines for tissue culture applications, technologies for identifying the gender of chicks in the egg stage, and many other projects spanning various fields.
